33RD ANNUAL IFYR CROWNS NEW CLASS OF CHAMPIONS

The 33rd edition of the International Finals Youth Rodeo crowned the next generation of rodeo’s brightest stars.

A new chapter of International Finals Youth Rodeo (IFYR) history has officially been written as the curtain closes on the 33rd annual event. From coast to coast, each event featured the toughest competition in youth rodeo, showcasing the brightest rising stars in the industry.

Colt Bass (Statesville, N.C.) turned heads in both the roughstock and timed-event arenas as an accomplished saddle bronc rider and team roper. This dynamic skillset helped him earn the 2025 IFYR All-Around Cowboy title.

Earning an impressive $10,484 was Mississippi cowgirl Raegan Chance (Mendenhall, Miss.), who proudly took home the All-Around Cowgirl title after standout performances in both breakaway roping and barrel racing.

After several top finishes, barrel racer Rinley Rawlins (Midlothian, Texas) entered the Short-Go in the driver’s seat and maintained her success with a strong 16.282-second final run. With an aggregate time of 48.610 seconds on three runs, she secured the title and collected $9,056 in total winnings.

Running the quickest pole bending time of the week was home-state cowgirl Merrick Moyer (Woodward, Okla.). Moyer’s speed and consistency earned her over $5,000 and the prestigious IFYR Pole Bending title.

Turning heads in breakaway roping was Oklahoma cowgirl Kyree Donaldson (Idabel, Okla.), who posted the fastest breakaway time of the week—a lightning-fast 1.8 seconds—to claim the title.

Wyoming cowgirl Hadley Thompson left fans and fellow athletes on the edge of their seats during the final performance with a blazing 6.4-second goat tying run. Not only was it the fastest of the week, but it also secured her the IFYR Goat Tying title and the coveted Montana Silversmiths buckle, with an aggregate time of 21.9 seconds on three runs.

“This win means a lot to me. My older sister has won before, and last year I came in second here. It’s so special to redeem myself and get the win this year,” explained Thompson.

Sunshine State cowboy Cross Fulford (Moore Haven, Fla.) capitalized on his consistency to take home a prestigious title and nearly $5,100. The Florida High School Rodeo State Champion was joined by friend and fellow Florida High School Rodeo Association State Champion, steer wrestler Trey Weekley (Southwest Ranches, Fla.), who posted a 5.2-second final round to capture the steer wrestling championship.

Australian cowboy Cade Ferguson (Cloncurry, QLD) was all smiles after capturing the Saddle Bronc Riding title. Ferguson rode his final horse to an impressive 83.0-point score—one of the highest of the week.

Bareback rider Fisher Burnsworth (DeQuincy, La.) made a powerful statement in the final round with a standout 83.0-point ride, marking the highest of the week to secure the title. The Cajuns continued to dominate, as bull rider Braxton Whitesell (Walker, La.) secured the bull riding championship with an 80.5-point score in the final round.

In team roping, longtime friends and partners Quinten Loehr (Mount Vernon, Ind.) and Jordon Steele (London, Ky.) were all smiles as they collected their custom Trent Ward saddles and Montana Silversmiths buckles.

“It’s a blessing to be all the way out here in Shawnee. It’s everything we’ve wanted—we love it. This win means a lot. It’s a really special moment and the biggest event we’ve won together. It’s one you always dream of winning,” said the duo.

As the curtain closes on the 2025 IFYR, athletes from coast to coast will leave Shawnee with prestigious titles, major payouts, and most importantly—priceless memories.
