Registration for the 2025 International Finals Youth Rodeo opens April 1 at 8:00 a.m. CT. Official entry is online though NextGenRodeo.com. Events will close as they fill up. Entries will close on June 13 at 5 p.m. CT. Please note, you MUST submit all notarized forms with entry submission via NextGen.com by June 13, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. CT.

Enter The IFYR

To reserve stalls and a camping spot, visit openstalls.com to reserve and pay for your reservation. After payment has been processed, you will receive an email with additional information related to your visit to Shawnee and will be asked to complete a follow-up form with extra details about your horse(s) and RV/camping setup so that the IFYR team can provide the best service possible!

Entry Fees

$200 per event (guarantees two long go’s and the possibility of the short go)

$45 IFYR Permit

Current IPRA Card holders DO NOT have to purchase an IFYR permit, just provide IPRA card number during IFYR entry

You must have one of the following cards to compete at IFYR:

1. IFYR Permit – $45 (automatically purchased if you enter as a non-member) OR a current IPRA Membership

Stalls and Camp Ground Reservations

$250 per stall (entire event) ***NO TACK STALLS – HORSES ONLY***
$350 camping reservation (entire event) ***LIMIT OF 1 RV RESERVATION PER CONTESTANT***

Stalling and camping spots will close when all spaces are filled, or by June 13th. There are a limited number of on ground stalls and camping sites. Everything is secured by your date of stall reservation online, first-come, first-served. Early applicants get the best locations. Stalling is nonrefundable after purchase online; however, you can sign up in the stalling office on grounds to sell your stall yourself. Camping fees are nonrefundable after purchase online as well, unless you are vetting out or medical releasing before IFYR.

Team Registration

Team Registration Info

All high school rodeo organizations, IPRA stock contractors, IPRA-recognized sponsors and IPRA rodeo committees are invited to sponsor teams to participate in the IFYR team competition at IFYR 2025.

The IFYR will again accept 40 teams on a first-come, first-served basis. High school rodeo associations will be limited to two teams per association. Rodeo committees, IPRA stock contractors and IPRA-recognized sponsors will be limited to one team.

A team shall have no more than three contestant entries, three teams in team roping, in each of the 10 rodeo events. A team shall have no less than two contestant entries in eight of the 10 rodeo events.

TEAM ENTRY & AWARDS
All teams must be entered by June 13, 2025 or until 40 team applications are received. Find the PDF Team Application at the bottom of this page. Individual online entry must be completed as well. Rosters must be completed by June 24, 2025.

Added Money:
$1,000 total added money

All teams shall pay a $150 entry fee, which will go to a team prize fund. The team entry fee is non-refundable. Prize fund to be split 40% to 1st, 30% to 2nd, 20% to 3rd and 10% to 4th.

Upon receipt of the team sponsor application (PDF application below) and $150 team entry fee, the IFYR will forward to the team sponsor a team roster. It will be the responsibility of the team sponsor to make sure everyone on the team is aware that they must list the team name on the online entry.

The entry process is online, so we will not have the team pre’s as we have in the past. Online official entries only. We must have the completed roster back by June 24, 2025.

Points
Team members will be awarded points for finishing in the top 15 of each go. Points will be awarded for the first go, second go and short go only. Team points will be awarded as follows: 15 points for 1st, 14 for 2nd, 13 for 3rd, 12 for 4th, 11 for 5th, 10 for 6th, 9 for 7th, 8 for 8th, 7 for 9th, 6 for 10th, 5 for 11th, 4 for 12th, 3 for 13th, 2 for 14th and 1 for 15th.

Points shall be awarded the same for each go-round. Team roping partners will both be awarded points (header and heeler).

Points will not be given for a position that is won by a contestant that is competing as an individual not on a team. A team entry does not guarantee entry in an open event. The IFYR will require each team to have a delegate to carry the team flag or banner in each Grand Entry. All team members are welcome to ride in the Grand Entries.

Reminder for Teams at IFYR 2025:
Each team sponsor (or representative if sponsors are not attending) must set up a meeting time with Dale in the IFYR office (located in the tradeshow building) to go over any team roster changes, additions, substitutions, etc. Once the team roster is initialed by Dale and yourself, there will be no changes made. Final rosters will be sealed at that time.
