CHAMPIONS CROWNED AT THE 34TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL FINALS YOUTH RODEO

More than 1,000 youth rodeo athletes took center stage this week at the 34th Annual International Finals Youth Rodeo (IFYR) in Shawnee, Oklahoma, competing for championships and a share of more than $277,740 in prize money. After six days of performances, the 2026 IFYR concluded by crowning its newest set of champions.

Jacob Stansbury and Kayson Lasyone entered the IFYR Championship Round after putting together two consistent runs of 5.7 and 6.2 seconds to sit tied for second in the team roping average at 11.9 seconds on two head. The duo rose to the occasion, stopping the clock in 5.60 seconds in the Championship Round, earning a 17.5 on three head to capture the IFYR team roping championship. 

Gracie Snyder saved her best for when it mattered most at the IFYR. After putting together a pair of smooth runs in the opening rounds to earn a spot in the Championship Round, Snyder laid down a 20.618-second run in the finals to secure the pole bending title. Her three-run total of 61.808 seconds was enough to earn the coveted IFYR championship.

Kyanne Casey delivered when the stakes were highest, recording times of 2.9 seconds in round one and a 2.7-second time in round two to advance to the Championship Round. Casey turned in a lightning-fast 1.9-second run in the finals to finish with a three-head aggregate of 7.5 seconds and claim the IFYR breakaway roping championship.

Luke Sengbusch put together a complete performance to earn the IFYR steer wrestling championship. After qualifying for the Championship Round with a two-head total of 10.8 seconds, Sengbusch tipped his steer in just 3.9 seconds to finish with a three-head aggregate of 14.7 seconds and claim the IFYR title.

Braxton Guillot put together three solid runs to capture the International tie-down roping championship. After positioning himself near the top of the average leaderboard with times of 11.0 and 8.8 seconds in the qualifying rounds, Guillot sealed the title with a quick 7.7-second run in the Championship Round. His three-head aggregate of 27.5 seconds secured the IFYR championship.

Raegan Chance finished the week claiming the barrel racing championship. The Mississippi cowgirl carried the momentum from her opening-round performances into the Championship Round, where she stopped the clock in 16.506 seconds. Her three-run aggregate of 49.854 seconds secured the IFYR title.

Addi Carney put together three outstanding runs to capture the IFYR goat tying championship. The Crockett, Texas, cowgirl opened the week with matching 7.6-second runs in the first two rounds to position herself near the top of the leaderboard before sealing the title with a 7.1-second run in the Championship Round. Her three-head aggregate of 22.3 seconds earned her the coveted IFYR championship.

2025 IFYR All-Around Cowboy Colt Bass delivered a clutch performance in the Championship Round to capture the saddle bronc riding championship. The North Carolina cowboy entered the finals after rides of 72.5 and 74.0 points in the qualifying rounds, then sealed the victory with a 79-point ride in the Championship Round. His three-head total of 225.5 points earned him the IFYR title.

Whitt Barnett made the most of his opportunity in the Championship Round to capture the bull riding championship. After opening the week with an impressive 84-point ride to qualify for the finals, the Arkansas cowboy climbed aboard for an 80.5-point ride in the Championship Round. His two-head total of 164.5 points secured the IFYR title.
